june wishlist and some photos.

All of my wishlist items this month are splurge worthy items. I don't know if I'm going to end up getting anything off of it at all. I was going to throw some lolita dresses on this month's wishlist too, but they've been on my wishlist for ages now. Maybe I should have a garage sale or something.

I had a roll of film that was taken on my Minolta STR101 developed pretty recently by Snapfish. Half of the photos turned out unsuccessful. I'm not sure why that is. Also, none of the pictures in this roll had the pretty focus blur effect that the previous roll had.
I had them developed as 3.5 x 5, for nostalgia's sake. It's pretty uncommon nowadays, to find pictures in that size. Overall pretty unsuccessful roll. Already loaded the next one, so hopefully that one will turn out better.

Another thing, Asuka of My Meadows of Heaven gave me this award. Thank you so much!

I've been sleeping some weird schedules lately. It's a summer thing. I need more money to buy manga. And more DS games need to be released. I need new games.

good things come in little black packages.

I received one of these black packages for the second time ever, earlier this week.
Inside was my long awaited Black Milk galaxy leggings. I had ordered them last month, but in the original galaxies, in small. Normally, I'd size up but everyone on the facebook group always talked about sizing down because of the stretch.
Unfortunately, I found out after receiving them that they don't stretch nearly as much as they're given credit for. When I took them out of the package, I was surprised how small they looked. Kind of like the little pants in the kiddy section. I was able to squeeze on the smalls, which were skin tight and resulted in a massive muffin top.
So I decided to spend that extra $20 to get an exchange. I probably could have and should have gone for a medium, but I didn't want to take the risk of them fitting like the small sized ones do, so I went for the large.
As expected, they are all-around loose, minus the waist part which fits relatively well. I wish the could be a little less loose, but I do prefer them much
over the muffin top. If they aren't comfortable, I can't see myself wearing them.
If it weren't for my sizing issue, these are the most amazing things I've ever worn. Probably'll go for a medium next time. Gosh, I hate not being able to try things on. The problem with online shopping.

save the splurge.

Tank top from Juicy Couture, two tank tops worn as a cape (left from Macy's, right from Peace Now), clip bow from F21, necklace from Sex Pot Revenge, Peace Now pants, Doc Martens from Buffalo Exchange.

I went to San Francisco on Saturday with my best friend to pick up an item she reserved. I went to look for this one pair of pants that I'd been saving up for. Unfortunately for me, by the time I got there, the pants that I wanted were already sold out. To console myself, I splurged a whole $150 on a different pair. I regret it already. I just really want that other pair.
These are pretty darn cute, though. There's a Evy mascot peeping out of the pocket, and drawstrings on the bottom to make it scrunched up or a relaxed fit.
Should have saved that money and splurged on a new dress. I think I'll sell some of my old dresses so I can buy myself a new dress. Only a few more days till graduation!

these moments last forever.

After months of tension and stress, the 53rd issue of the Nugget is finally out. This is the result of our labor; a compilation of memories to be remembered forever.
This is my year. Look through any of the old yearbooks from my middle school to junior year of high school and the only picture you'll find of me is in the mugshot section. Which doesn't usually turn out too well.
Luckily I get a few choices as a senior. The photographer gives us five pictures per person so we'd have a choice as to which picture we would like. This was the only picture that turned out alright. My necklace was crooked in all of the other ones.

It was mentioned a few months ago, but my class voted me into the senior hall of fame. Pictures were taken in January and I've had the photos saved onto my computer for ages, but hadn't posted them because that probably would have gone against yearbook policy.
Unfortunately we took photos facing the sun for better lighting. It's always like that. So I squinted awkwardly in all of the photos.

My swacket has a pocket with a white lining. It sticks out at inconvenient times, and I wish it were a black lining instead.

swacket from Harputs Union, top dress from Forever21, bottom dress from Emily Temple Cute, brown engineer boots.

I haven't graduated yet, but my classes are finally over. I wasn't the biggest fan of high school, and I can't wait to get away, but looking through the book makes me miss everyone already.

I forgot if I've featured this camera on my blog yet, but I bought a Fujifilm Instax about three weeks ago. It takes really great quality pictures and doesn't take any skill, unlike the old Polaroids. No peeling involved, no flipping and shielding of light necessary.
I'm using this camera to take pictures of things and people I want to remember, to take along with me to college.

get some sleep.

Yesterday I had a terrible stomachache and passed out at 5 in the afternoon. I didn't wake up until 6:30 in the morning. So I've finally gotten the sleep I needed those past few weeks. I got very little sleep on Fanime days.
Finals will finally be over this week, and I can't wait for the week to end and finally get back to blogging. Maybe I'll finally go shopping too. I want to get a kigurumi. Still deciding which to get and where to buy it.
My LM.C CD came in yesterday in the mail. It had cool packaging and a free mystery colored ring. I got the blue one. I wanted the black one, but no use complaining.

Finals study time.
