watch me fly.

Yesterday was dare to wear day at school. I had planned to wear my space orbit hat, but it didn't go with the rest of my outfit. I wore the mesh around my head the whole day, or else I'd look like I'm dressing up for dress-like-usual-day.

Surprisingly, I didn't get any nun comments. I did receive a couple widow and funeral comments, though.

I had my black MaM parasol to go with the outfit today, but I forgot to include it in the pictures. I really wanted to do unusual makeup for it, but then I saw my lack of makeup. And I don't know where my false lashes went.
Mesh headdress remnants from art class, Swacket from Harputs Union, crochet top from thrift, GLP miniskirt, J Daheck silk skirt, fabric remnant from Joann's, freebie tights, Dolce Vita for Target shoes.

Fabrics! I really love the shiny Joann's one. I'd love to make something out of it if I were better at sewing.
I love these shoes. Except for the fact that they scuff so easily. I was running to get in the picture before my timer went off and ran into a pipe opening that left some unpleasant scarring.

Love, Kai

Your outfit reminds me of those Japanese gothic lolitas with the full skirt and boots...super cute! =)

Your shoes are so good.... I hate it when shoes get scuffed-- I have a pair of clogs that have lots of scratches from all the times I've tripped/run into something/fallen over.

Thanks, Stylepint!
Genevieve: They were on clearance at Target for $12! Sales make me so happy. Whenever I get my shoes scuffed, I start hyperventilating and freaking out. When I was younger, I did a lot of running around and falling over. Maybe that's why I always wore sneakers.
