dashing.

Coughing fit today. Coughing my internal organs out. Not fun. As a perfect attendance student, I never miss a day of school. For the first time, I took yesterday off to rest, in hope that I would get better today so I could do my literature performance and government debate. Fever is gone, and now it's just really terrible coughing and stuffy noses.

Saba Blazer from Goodwill, shirt from F21, bowtie from 6% Dokidoki, American Eagle pants
For my performance in literature, I played mafia boss!Othello. In groups, we were to take the Shakespeare text and put it in a different setting. I had a paper mustache for the performance too. I was planning on wearing a tie to look more formal, but tying ties is one of my disabilities.
This is that one Saba blazer that I found at Goodwill. The quality of this thing is amazing. I'm not usually a fan of shoulder padding (I cut them out of vintage pieces because I can't stand them), but the padding in this blazer is really flattering. The fabric is nice, and it feels almost like a tux.
Though they're usually on sale, a blazer from Saba has about a $300 retail price. Makes me kind of happy that I got this one for $7. When I tried it on, I wondered why it felt so tight for a size 8. Apparently, Australian size 8's equal to a US size 4. It's been a while since I've worn a size 4. Nowadays I just buy everything with elastic.

if I were a boy.

Yesterday, I attended National Portfolio Day in San Francisco. I had been planning on going to sleep early so I could look plenty awake in front of the college representatives. But I couldn't find glue, and spent the whole night looking for it. And went to sleep at 5am, and woke up at 7am. So sleep deprived.

There's a loose hair in my peripheral view and I keep thinking it's a spider. I've lost count how many times I turned already. I can't find which strand of hair it is.

I picked up the February issue of KERA magazine, featuring Neeko and Takeru on the cover.

Though I try to get an issue every month, I've missed a ton of issues from last year just because I couldn't dish out the money.

I loved the makeup section in this issue. "Boy makeup." Boystyle Midori! Midori is the cutest person in the world. She's my idol. It'd be my dream job to be a KERA model.
Here's another spread with Yura(left) and Re:NO(right). I thought Yura was Akira in the picture.
And here's one with Runa-Luna.

I see a trend. Boystyle makeup = wig + nude lipstick + black eyeliner and BAM. I sort of tried to do it. I can't apply eyeliner for my life.

This hair length is really difficult to manage.

now I'm feelin so fly.

A classmate of mine told me today that I look like I'm from Far East Movement. It must be the jacket and the being-Asian,though half our school is Asian. This is how my hair looks after I blow dry it. By the time I wake up in the morning, I have strands of hair sticking in different directions. Do I look like a boy?

I took this picture yesterday night after getting my new jacket and thought ohsnap I look like I have Bieber hair. More singer/artist reference!

Puma windbreaker, NYDJ jeans from Nordstrom Racks, my friend's sister's Nike Dunks.

It's been a while since I wore jeans! Jeans seemed appropriate today, though. I wore my Ecko sneakers today, but swapped shoes with my friend, who was wearing her sister's shoes, because they matched my jacket. Jealous! I want my own pair of Nike's. Still saving up for that swacket.

There is a pair of Nike's that someone is selling for pretty cheap, but I'm still deciding if I can justify spending any more money this month (or next month. Oh dangit the flea market is on Saturday).
I almost bought this pair at Thrift Town the other day. They look really new in the picture, but they're pretty worn in real life. They were around my size, and $10. While $10 isn't too bad for shoes, they were too worn to be $10 and no discount (I'm so cheap). Maybe I'll save up for those Nike's too.

7:30! Going to sleep early today.

my tie is crooked.

I wouldn't make a very good man. I need other people to tie my ties for me. Dressed formal for my presentation in Econ. No black heels or pencil skirts in my closet, so I went with a bow tie.

Today was dress-up-for-Halloween day at school. I took my camera along, but ended up not taking any pictures, so I'll make my blog posts once everyone else's pictures from today are up.
