creepy pics and all that jazz.

This weekend, the Pokemon Black and White tour visited the Bay Area! I was afraid they were going to have it in only Los Angeles or something, but luckily there was one not too far away that I was able to attend. Total Pokenerd right here.
I knew there was going to be a fairly large amount of people at the mall, but I wasn't anticipating the huge lines (maybe I'm just an optimist). The line for the greenscreen pictures was the shortest line there. Lines for spinning the wheel for free stuff was the longest. It looks like a two hour line, but it moves fairly fast, and so I waited in line for that for 40 minutes.

Here's where the creepy pictures start.
I don't really like the idea of having my underaged baby brother's face on my blog, so he's edited out.

I was excited for the souvenir shop, though I wasn't planning on getting anything. My brother got a shirt and a plush, and my mom kept insisting I get something too, since it's like a 'vacation.' But I'm good with the freebies.
Tower of overflowing awesome. I would have liked it if they sold my characters. I'm not much of a fan of the ones they were selling.
If there was one thing that I really wanted, it would have been this stuffed bear.
Floral patterned arms and legs and ears! I kind of regret not getting it, but I'm saving up money to buy more Nintendo next month.

Here's another creepy picture. My mom bought my little brother that Snivy plush. She got me an Oshawott as a freebie from the spin wheel.
We went to watch the free screening of the Pokemon movie in the theaters. I used to go to the theaters to watch the Pokemon movie every year, until they stopped doing that for the 6th movie. I kind of understand why, though. The movie quality started going down after the 3rd movie.

I sat next to my mom, who needed clarification throughout the whole movie. "Is that the pokemon's mom?" I don't know. Something like that. "Is that pokemon a bad guy?" No, mom. "I thought he got kidnapped!" No, mom. That was a decoy. "Are those dog pokemon bad guys?" No, mom. "Then why are they attacking the good pokemon?" Because they think he's the bad guy. "Why?" I give up. Throughout the whole thing.

Lol Bieber. There were actually quite a number of people who were waiting in line for the Bieber movie, and walking around with Bieber shirts.

Aw snap it's late again.

dashing.

Coughing fit today. Coughing my internal organs out. Not fun. As a perfect attendance student, I never miss a day of school. For the first time, I took yesterday off to rest, in hope that I would get better today so I could do my literature performance and government debate. Fever is gone, and now it's just really terrible coughing and stuffy noses.

Saba Blazer from Goodwill, shirt from F21, bowtie from 6% Dokidoki, American Eagle pants
For my performance in literature, I played mafia boss!Othello. In groups, we were to take the Shakespeare text and put it in a different setting. I had a paper mustache for the performance too. I was planning on wearing a tie to look more formal, but tying ties is one of my disabilities.
This is that one Saba blazer that I found at Goodwill. The quality of this thing is amazing. I'm not usually a fan of shoulder padding (I cut them out of vintage pieces because I can't stand them), but the padding in this blazer is really flattering. The fabric is nice, and it feels almost like a tux.
Though they're usually on sale, a blazer from Saba has about a $300 retail price. Makes me kind of happy that I got this one for $7. When I tried it on, I wondered why it felt so tight for a size 8. Apparently, Australian size 8's equal to a US size 4. It's been a while since I've worn a size 4. Nowadays I just buy everything with elastic.

note to self: don't eat infected sandwiches.

Darn. Sick again. Last time, I was sick because my friend had a cold and was coughing in my general direction while I was eating my sandwich. But being hungry and incautious, I ate it anyway, and caught her cold. I should have learned from my lesson. Yet. You know the rest.

Today was sixty something degrees. If it weren't for the wind, it would have been considered a pretty warm day. I was pretty much cold all day. Mostly because I was wearing sleeveless tops and my swacket isn't exactly the warmest thing in the world.

Grey tank from Juicy Couture, black tank from thrift shop, Harputs Own swacket from Harputs Union, pants from Taiwan, Floral Doc Martens.

I guess I never wrote about it, but I've made several trips to the thrift store this month and last month. I always find something I like, but somehow, I didn't find anything I wanted 3 out of the 4 times. On my last trip to Goodwill, I did find this cardigan.
The tag reads "Knitted and Knotted," so I'm guessing it's from Anthropologie. Once spring is here, I'll be able to wear it.

I also got myself a tee shirt with a cute little patch on it.
I have more than enough tees, but I cut a square in my other grey shirt because I needed a swatch for my FIT portfolio. This one's just replacement.
D'aww cute. It's kind of hard to see in this picture. It's a stick girl in a pocket. Too bad it's not a real pocket. At least it's not like fake pockets on girl jeans.

Summer break, I'm waiting for you.

almost free.

I compiled all of my fashion designs for deviantart just the other day. When it's put together like this, it feels like I drew a lot less than I thought I did.

As an added bonus, here's a photo of a dress I made. I got the fabric from a long skirt that I bought at a thrift store. I think I've only worn it once, and decided it was too much trouble because I kept tripping over it.
It was a skirt, but I wore it as a dress even then. Here's the post.

Lately, I've been getting an acne outbreak problem. I think it's one of my sun exposure symptoms. Hahaha so maybe not many photos will be posted in the few following days.

I finished applications for another school today. Two more to go before I'm done with all my applications!

aftermath.

My room has been relatively tidy for a while, but after I started working on the sewing portion of my FIT portfolio, somehow it ended up like this.
And this is after a bit of cleaning. A couple days back, I couldn't even walk to my desk from the door. As soon as all of my college apps are completed, I will clean this place up.

The past few days, I've been getting that "so much clothing but nothing to wear" kind of feeling. I used to dress up when I have free time, and then wear those outfits that I put together. But lately, I've only been wanting to rest or read comics in my spare time. I always thought seniors had it easy, until this year.

Today was a swacket day.
Despite there being so many ways to wear it, I seem to always wear it the same way. I also get really paranoid when wearing it because I don't want to get it dirty. A friend of mine ate curry for lunch today, and I was shifting away from her every second in fear for my swacket.

About the mystery mail mentioned in my previous post! It turned out to be this amazingly amazing calendar sent to be by TuyetDinhSinhVat.
I really love her work. If only I could watercolor half as well. Watercolor is my favorite medium, but it is also one of my weakest.

I don't know if I said anything about my optical mouse, but the scroll broke a couple months back, and doesn't do anything besides spin like a wheel. I went out and bought another one yesterday.
The left one is the one that broke. I wanted to buy a replacement for it, but I bought it in Taiwan and importing in a new one costs way too much. I got this mini Asus one to use until I can get me another egg mouse. It feels really, really small, and kind of feels like a toy.

Another thing, if I ever held a giveaway, what kinds of things would you guys like to see?

Gosh, I hope I can finish another college app today.
