end of a chapter.

currently listening to "Edge of Glory" by Lady Gaga

My graduation was last thursday. I'm finally out of high school. I didn't get a grad present, but my dad bought me this moleskine sketchbook, which coincidentally arrived on the doorstep the same day as graduation. So I drew in it as soon as I opened it.
Before graduation, I was asking the same question that I know a lot of other people were asking: what are we supposed to wear with out graduation gown. I figured since my graduation gown was white, I would wear white with it. I wore a frilly cream colored blouse and a cream colored dress, with brown wedges.
My older brother told my parents that grads like to get flowers, so my mom rushed to the party store and bought some leis to throw on me.
We were to get there pretty early, just to make sure that no one is late. I was washing my hair fifteen minutes before I was to get there, and rushed out of the house before it was dried. Turned out that after getting there at the assigned time, there was another hour and a half of just sitting around.
I wasn't actually there for the cap throwing. By the time I got my diploma, I wasn't in any mood to stick around. High school wasn't the best time of my life, and I didn't want to stay to wallow in it. I took a couple pictures with friends I ran into on my way out, and that was about it.

It's finally over.

Love, Kai

I'm starting highschool next year and I know it'll go back fast. Just the thought of growing up is rather frightening! Where are you going to college?

Middle school went by really fast for me, but then again I only had two years. I remember when I graduated middle school, I was freaking out about growing up and going to college. Well, it's happening! I'm going to art school in New York!

Congrats! :) I feel you on high school. Happy to be out of there XD aaand. I'm really amazed that the cap throwing thing really happens. When my class graduated, we didn't even wear graduation gowns, nor caps for that matter XD
