million miles away.

For my 100th post, I wanted to incorporate some art, because it's not often that I post art on my blog. I am a huge fan of galaxies and cosmic print. This was drawn for Red.
Written in the Stars is stuck in my head.

Here's an extension of my SoCal trip.
Berverly Hills is boss, man. The houses are so nice. There are tour cars going around introducing celebrity houses. It was kind of weird. I didn't have a car there, so it was a lot of public transportation and walking. Ohh the walking.

While I was in Los Angeles, I took a trip to Maxfield's, because I wanted to see Comme Des Garcons. I took a picture of their window display. It's not a very good picture, but I was afraid of taking any more pictures because guards are pretty.

I did ask a worker inside if I could take a picture with the statues, though. I got pictures with all of them.
I felt a little awkward and out of place, especially with so many people dressed in suits. The workers were welcoming, though. One worker commented on how she liked my shoes. Another commented on my cat sweater dress.

I didn't see as much Comme Des Garcons as expected. What really took my breath away were the Christopher Kane dresses. There were two different ones in the babydoll style with resort 2011 prints. My biggest regret was not having the guts to ask for a fitting room. There were people who were trying things on and taking pictures. I wish I could have done that.

Holy shoot holy shoot this one. It's so freaking gorgeous. I originally also wanted to go to Opening Ceremony for the Alexander Wang items and Christopher Kane tees. I don't think I can ever afford the dresses, but I can at least hope for a sale on the tees. I still want that Zara one that I missed out on. Things I like:

Christopher Kane dress from Farfetch.com, Christopher Kane tee from Opening Ceremony, Galaxy tee from Zara, pink cosmic dress from Opening Ceremony, Christopher Kane Resort 2011, G-Star Marc Newson galaxy Gore Tex Jacket.

I haven't been able to find that Zara top anywhere. If anyone is selling it, you know who to contact. Oh yeah, and the Comme Des Garcons for H&M collection. I remember coming across it years ago, and brushing it off. Another regret. There are some pieces from the collection that I'd like.

If I become a designer, expect to see space related designs.

I woke up at noon today. And then watched the Mugler show. There was quite a bit of tripping and stumbling going on. Gaga wore something like 10 inch heels and walked effortlessly. Now that's beast. Just checked; Mugler is finally on Style.com! I wasn't floored by anything I saw, really,in the show today. My favorite would be this one, but perhaps for the wrong reason. It reminds me of Alexander Wang.

I do like the second half of the menswear collection, though. I wish I could do that, for Dare to Wear day tomorrow. It's a bit late now, though.

Love, Kai
